In the year 1900, the famous professor of physics in the University of Berlin, Max Planck, derived a formula for energy distribution of black-body radiation. He gave the explanation of his formula using quantization of energy, which was a great shift from the classical physics and led to the birth of Quantum physics. In this formula, he also made use of probability, which led to strange results and a requirement was always felt to prove the formula without probability. The author had derived this formula of physics without probability and published the results in the Indian Journal of Science and Technology. Since the article published in the journal is difficult to assimilate for the layman, the author has written this book explaining the derivation of the formula by traditional method as well as without the use of probability.
BlackBody Radiation An Explanation without Probability eBook Devinder Dhiman
The author set out to propose that probability should be removed from the science of physics. He achieves this goal with clear and concise precision. While doing this, he takes the reader along the path of physics history, from Planck to Boltzmann, careful not to leave anyone behind, defining terms such as “black-body radiation” and “imaginary resonator.” He illustrates the different modes of standing waves and explains energy spheres. With data from a common source of black body radiation, proven by formulas, he opens up the world to a new basis for physics.*The last physics course that I have taken was over twenty years ago—Physics for Life Sciences a.k.a. Physics for People That Can’t Do Math a.k.a Physics for Dummies—and not once did this book make me feel like a complete idiot.

BlackBody Radiation An Explanation without Probability eBook Devinder Dhiman Reviews
Easy to read, and comprehensive
Great effort to explain in a simple way the quantum and practical physics concepts
Liked authors approach to relativity
A very well articulated book.
It explains in simple language some of very complex facts of Quantum mechanics. Using various techniques and formulas, the author has explained concepts very well, without the dependence on probability. Bulb example has been used but the suggested techniques can be applied to the formation of radiation by sub-atomic participles.
I learned Max Planck's formula about black body radiation during my school days and without question I assumed it to be correct. But this book makes me wonder whether it is 100% right. The author has beautifully explained the shortcomings of Max Planck's formula and concurrently proposed a new way to look at the black body radiation theory using relevant examples. Both the explanation and the concept is brilliant. I recommend this book to everyone.
