For the first time ever - get the whole trilogy in one book!

In Book One

For some people it's a dream - bringing a child into the world, with someone you love. Starting a family and gearing yourself up for your Happy Ever After. For some people, it's something they have dreamed about since they were a little girl. But not Jessica, not even eighteen years of age yet, she doesn't feel ready. She doesn't want 9 Months of discomfort, and a baby at the end of it. She doesn't feel as though she's lived enough of her own life yet. Maybe one day, just not right now. It's just too bad her kidnapper seems hell-bent on keeping her and her baby alive.

What do they want with her baby? What will happen to her after she's given birth? I guess, in 9 Months, she'll find out. Until then, she's in for the long haul...

In Book Two

Jessica is still trapped in a nightmare. Her captor refusing to let her go. Refusing to grant her the abortion she desperately seeks. But is motherhood really that bad, as her captor tries to make her see the light? Would a baby be the best thing to ever happen to her?

With more twists and turns - follow the nightmare as it unfolds; told through the eyes of the people living the story.

And in Book Three

Jessica thought she was safe - nothing else could get her. She thought her nightmare was over and soon she'd be free from her shackles and the pregnancy.

It was never going to be that easy, though, and soon she realised - by killing one monster - she had created one far worse than she could have ever imagined.

9 Months Trilogy A Novel of Horror and Suspense eBook Matt Shaw

There's no "Warning" on this book's cover, but it is pretty sick and twisted nonetheless.

It starts with a (seemingly) normal, happy family. They all actually seem to get along with each other and when that includes a 17-year-old girl, that in itself, is unusual.

The girl begins dating a really nice guy. She gets pregnant. Then her world changes horrifically as she is kidnapped and forced to have the baby. I won't get in to what happens after that, but it seems to the girl like her world has dissolved into insanity. I would have to agree.

Family secrets are revealed and the girl's parents have a tragic past they never told her about. It turns out she would be better off not knowing.

This book left me with the question: Are insane people always insane, but are able to pretend they're not for a long time? Or does some kind of even trigger insanity and cause people to spiral downward, unable to stop? In this case, I think it's a combination of the two, but once it begins there is no end but tragedy.

This book was disturbing, but it was also very well-written. You can almost see the crazed expressions on the faces of the people involved--and they're not pretty. If anything, this may be a book to give to your teenager to make him/her think twice about having unprotected sex. In reality, no one deserves what the girl in this book was put through.

For some reason, the song, "Teach Your Children Well" keeps going through my head when thinking about this book, particularly the phrases,

"Teach your children well, their parent's hell did slowly go by,..."
"And you, of the tender years can't know the fears that your elders grew by,..."
"Don't you ever ask them why, if they told you, you would cry,"
"So just look at them and sigh and know they love you."

Some kinds of love we can all do without.

9 Months Trilogy A Novel of Horror and Suspense eBook Matt Shaw Reviews

This story hit home on so many levels. If you're close to your parents, it'll get ya. If you have anything to do with adoption, it'll get ya! If you have or know someone who went through teen pregnancy, IT'LL GET YA! This family takes such an unexpected approach to dealing with their daughter's pregnancy. I had to seriously ask myself what I would do if I were in the daughter's shoes...or shackles rather. This is writing at its best. When the author can get you thinking about real life situations and how you'd handle them, you know they are worth every second of the read. Definitely pick this book up and see what you would do!
This was a great book, I finished reading it and immediately purchased the other two books in the series. The ending shocked me. I enjoyed reading this book. The book is about a young girl that gets pregnant and decides to abort her baby, then she is kidnapped and the rest of the book is a roller coaster ride of suspense, terror and thrills. The biggest problem I found with the book is that you really don't know who to root for! Very easy read as all three volumes only took me 2 days to read them. Another Matt Shaw success....
This trilogy was great! If you like suspense, crazy, twisted stories, then this is for you. The authors style of writing is what makes this so good. Short, choppy sentences get straight to the point.
This is a MUST read! The plot is so twisted. I was shocked every time I turned the page. I really liked how you got to read from each characters point of view. You found out what each character was thinking and how they were feeling in their own words. For example, two of the characters' first date.
I highly recommend you get the trilogy as one book versus each individual one separately, it only makes sense price wise.
I love this author because you never know which way he is going. He takes a great story line and builds up the suspense. Just when you think you have everything figured out he pulls a different rabbit out of the hat. I would give 5 stars but I'm not a fan of continuing short stories. I would rather read a good flowing novel with no cliff hanger and a good ending.
Great story ! My God, I was blown away ! I've read GOSH, the Happy Ever After Trilogy, Peter and they were some pretty dark books .
Now that I've finished the 9 Months Trilogy I got to read and see how messed up this family was from the very beginning. The lengths good ole mummy and daddy were willing to go to bring there grandson into this world was crazy . I highly recommend this set of books if you have read the Happy Ever After Trilogy. It will take you to the beginning of how Peter was brought into this world, and eventually made into every woman's nightmare !
Another great work by Matt Shaw! His bizarre plots and sick twists continue to amaze me to no end. Just when you think things can't get any more twisted, surprise! Though this book lacks the preoccupation with microwave meals, I did thoroughly enjoy it and recommended to anyone who enjoys his particular genre of horror porn! While many may find identification with his character is difficult, I surprisingly finds no problem ......perhaps I should worry..... Never afraid to flaunt the unconventional, Matt Shaw continues to surprise and amaze me with his lurid stories. Check out his Facebook page for updates and status reports.

This book was one of the best I've read! It took a minute to get used to the back and forth of today and how all came to be from the beginning. But once I got that ,it was a great story, with lots of twists and turns. The reveal of the kidnapper surprised me! I highly recommend this Trilogy to anyone into horror and suspense, you get it in spades. I will be reading more by Matt Shaw!
